The Command Escort is a dream of Randy Payne, a long-time goal that is finally beginning to take shape. After years of being a part of various reenacting groups, Randy will combine his experience and desire and form a new unit, a unit dedicated to excellence in tactics and presentation.
As with all Cavalry units, members must have a mount that has a temperment suitable to this hobby, and the resources to outfit themselves with the proper Cavalry uniforms and equipment , as well as the ability to attend events. With a strong emphasis on period-correctness, Randy is seeking men who are willing to train hard, ride hard, and pay respect to Nathan Bedford Forrest and the men who rode with him.
Families are welcome, and a separate civilian contingent will also be formed.
